Wreaths, garlands, ornaments & votives — Holiday Workshop Series

Make heirloom-worthy decor for every home and every tradition. Each table works with rich, natural materials like velvet, plaster, gilded glass, wood and dried citrus, so the piece you take home looks like it came from a boutique, not a craft aisle.

Choose your craft:

Velvet wreath, with Berta. Knot plush velvet strips onto a gold hoop. Choose your shape: a modern crescent on a double gold hoop, or a full gold hoop with velvet strips and gold peeking through. Both are finished with a small dried-grass accent and a velvet bow. Choose your palette:

• Neutral: ivory, champagne, caramel
• Burgundy: burgundy, blush, ivory
• Forest: forest green, sage, cream

You'll pick your shape and palette at registration, and your kit will be ready for you.

Dried citrus garland, with Annika. String a garland on natural jute with velvet bows for a mantel, sideboard or staircase. Choose your kit at registration:

• Warm Spice: dried orange slices with star anise, cinnamon bundles, preserved cedar, natural and burgundy wood beads, and berry sprigs, with burgundy velvet bows.
• Winter Greenery: silver dollar eucalyptus, blood orange slices, mini pine cones, chocolate and cream felt balls, natural and walnut wood beads, and cream tassels, with forest green velvet bows.

Textured plaster ornaments & wall hangings, with Sim. Add sculpted plaster texture to wood moons, stars, arches and rounds. Hang them as individual ornaments, or string several on velvet ribbon as a wall hanging. Pieces finish drying at home overnight.

Gilded beaded votive, with Juleah. Choose how you want to start. Gild your own glass with gold or silver leaf flakes and pair it with a simple beaded accent, or start with a pre-gilded votive and spend your time on a fuller beaded band. Either way, you'll wrap your votive in seed beads and pearls on gold or silver wire. Then you'll visit the charm bar to pick a charm to hang below the band: an initial, moon, star, Star of David, hamsa, lotus, snowflake and more. LED tealight included.

How it works: Choose your round and craft when you register. Each round is 90 minutes and starts together with step-by-step instruction. Stay for both rounds to make two pieces.
